U-notch cut out on the top of the slide serving as a sight. Matching assembly numbers on the frame, slide and magazine. "MADE IN BELGIUM" marked on the right side of the slide. "6.35" stamped on the left side of the frame. Belgium proofs on the barrel, frame and slide. Left side of the frame is marked "ANCIENS ETABLISSEMENTS PIEPER HERSTAL-BELGIUM-". Bore is heavily frosted with very good overall rifling. Grips have some wear, with a few chips around the edges.

CONDTION: Metal retains 90% or more of its original finish with light handling marks and wear. Magazine is marked "FN" in a circle and has been lightly refinished. Checkered hard rubber grips with "FN" monograms. Metal has been very lightly refinished at some point. U-notch cut out on the top of the slide acting as sights. Belgian proofs on the frame, slide, and barrel. There is an Austrian proof mark over "4506.29" on the left side of the slide as well. Left side of the slide is marked "FABRIQUE NATIONAL D'ARMES de GUERRE HERSTAL BELGIQUE/BROWNING'S PATENT DEPSOE". Lot consists of (A) FN Model 1906 semi automatic pistol.
